About the Role

We are seeking an Assembler to join our client's team, responsible for the mechanical and electrical assembly, wiring, and testing of low-voltage distribution and panel boards.

This is a hands-on role where quality, safety, and attention to detail are critical. You will work to technical drawings and industry standards to deliver reliable, high-performance electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Build, wire, and test distribution boards and panel boards in line with guidelines
Read and interpret electrical CAD drawings and wiring diagrams
Select, check, and prepare components prior to build
Assemble wiring looms using various cable crimping tools
Carry out electrical testing including
Diagnose and resolve wiring and assembly faults
Maintain accurate production and test documentation
Work independently and collaboratively to meet production targets

Desirable but not essential as full training provided for the right candidate:

18th Edition (BS 7671) knowledge or qualification
Panel testing experience
Proven experience in a low-voltage panel building environment
Understanding of electrical systems and components
Excellent attention to detail and quality focus
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Computer literacy

Working Environment

Primarily workshop-based with occasional site work
Regular use of hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
Safety-focused, team-oriented environment
