Responsibilities
* Assist with site preparation, including clearing and organizing materials to ensure smooth workflow
* Support skilled tradespeople by carrying tools, materials, and equipment safely around the site
* Help with loading and unloading deliveries, ensuring materials are stored securely and efficiently
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment by tidying up debris and adhering to safety protocols
* Follow instructions from supervisors to complete tasks accurately and efficiently
* Conduct routine safety checks and report any hazards or concerns immediately
* Support site logistics by assisting with fencing, signage, and securing the work area as needed
Skills
* Valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card demonstrating health and safety awareness on construction sites
* Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods
* Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards safety and collaboration
* Good communication skills to understand instructions clearly and report issues promptly
* Willingness to learn new skills and adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment
* Basic knowledge of construction site safety practices is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed
