Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers in Market Drayton.
The rate of pay is £17.35 - £21.85 per hour.
Fixed day shifts and Adhoc work available.
Your Time at Work
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for:
- Nationwide deliveries into all major RDC's
- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness
- Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Following all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Our Perfect Worker
Our ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to carry out essential vehicle checks to ensure safety, accurately identifying and reporting any defects. You will be required to adhere to all on-site heath and safety regulations and demonstrate a clear understanding of drivers hours and WTD legislation, ensuring full compliance at all times.
Candidates must hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence, along with a current Driver CPC (DCPC) and tacho card. A minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience is required.
Applicants should have no more than 6 penalty points and must not have DD or DR driving convictions.
