Production Operative

£15.05 per hour | Rotating Shifts | Monday to Friday

Shift Pattern:

Week 1: 6:00am – 2:00pm
Week 2: 1:45pm – 9:45pm
About the Role

We are looking for reliable, motivated, and safety-conscious individuals to join a busy production team. As a Production Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring products are packed, labelled, and prepared accurately while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Safely pack chemicals into a variety of containers and outer packaging in line with company procedures.
Operate measuring and weighing equipment accurately.
Complete production and stock transactions using computer-based systems.
Assemble, seal, and label products correctly, ensuring compliance with UN regulations.
Verify batch numbers, chemical codes, and product labels for accuracy.
Prioritise and safely move chemical containers, including IBCs, drums, and sacks.
Apply supply and UN labels where required.
Palletise finished products and prepare them for warehouse transfer.
Support the movement of raw materials and finished goods across site.
Process returned packaging for reuse in accordance with safety procedures.
Carry out routine quality inspections and checks.
Assist with equipment maintenance and basic upkeep.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
Maintain high housekeeping standards to ensure a safe and organised workplace.
Support stock control activities and the disposal of redundant materials.
