Temporary GP Receptionist

My client is seeking a Receptionist to join their GP practice on an ongoing temporary basis.

The person will be responsible for undertaking a varied range of reception and administrative duties and the provision of general support to the team.

Duties can include:

Greeting and directing patients
Patient registration
Booking appointments
Processing of information (electronic and hard copy)
Assisting patients as required
Using the e-Referrals System to book patients in

To be successful in this role:

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Excellent time management with the ability to prioritise workload

* Excellent self-management flexible and quick to learn new skills and tasks

* Proactive with a keen eye for detail

* Strong interpersonal skills and a professional communicator

* Ability to work under pressure

* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as dealing with own specific work items.

* Ability to multi task with experience in a fast paced, high volume work environment.

* Excellent planning and organisational skills.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, on a rota system to cover the opening hours of 8am - 8pm.
