HGV Class 1 Day Driver

HGV Class 1 Day Drivers - Full Time Ongoing
 
Location: Severn Beach, Bristol
Pay Rate: £18.74ph - £21.89
Shift Pattern: 5 on, 3 off
Start Times: Between 05:00 – 09:00 AM

Bonus scheme running from October 11th - January 3rd. £90 paid per week, for each week worked. £50 paid within the week, £40 banked and paid at the end of the scheme.  This is dependant on absences, incidences and delivery performance. 
 
About the Role:
We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 day drivers to join a leading logistics provider on an ongoing basis. This is a physically demanding role, and drivers must be prepared to handle a variety of goods. Duties include:

Delivering products including white goods such as washing machines, tumble dryers, fridges, and freezers (not palletised)
Handling TVs, microwaves, and other electrical appliances (some palletised)
Heavy lifting and manual handling required
Ensuring all deliveries are completed efficiently and safely
The Right Candidate:

HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence with a minimum of 2 years UK experience
Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
Physically fit and able to commit to a long-term role
Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
