Immediate Start Available - Temporary to Permanent opportunity 

OA are currently working with a well established client based in Bedford, currently looking to recruit for an experienced, customer service driven Van Driver to support the delivery and installation of products across the UK. 

No two days are the same, and geographically you will be expected to drive into Central London, across the South Coast and various our locations around the UK. The ideal candidate will enjoy being on the road, meeting and servicing clients, supporting the installations and looking for a long term career. 

Duties of a Van Driver:

Safely drive a company van to commercial client sites, delivering furniture and equipment and ensuring items are unloaded and positioned safely.
Provide excellent customer service, acting as a professional and friendly face of the company when dealing with clients on-site.
Support installers with the assembly of flat-pack furniture, basic fitting tasks and connecting accessories/equipment where required.
Work safely and efficiently when handling, moving and installing furniture, using basic hand tools and following health & safety procedures.
Complete deliveries professionally, communicating clearly with clients and the wider team and resolving or reporting any issues promptly.
What we would like from you:

Full UK driving licence with previous van driving or commercial delivery experience.
Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a professional, confident and approachable manner.
Practical, hands-on ability with experience using basic tools and assembling or installing furniture, equipment or similar products.
Physically fit and comfortable with regular lifting, carrying and moving of furniture and equipment.
Reliable, adaptable and able to work independently or as part of a team, with a genuine "get stuck in" attitude
