Production Packing Operative
Location: Barnsley (S70)
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm (approx.), Monday to Friday
Contract: Long-term Temporary with Permanent Opportunity
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Production Packing Operative to join our client's growing team within a busy and fast-paced production environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual looking to secure long-term employment with the potential of a permanent position.
As part of the packing team, you will be responsible for operating packing machinery, preparing products for wrapping, and ensuring all products meet the highest quality standards before dispatch.
Key Responsibilities
Operating packing and production machinery safely and efficiently.
Packing confectionery products ready for order fulfilment and distribution.
Preparing products for wrapping and packaging.
Carrying out visual quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic working environment.
Working effectively as part of a team to meet production targets.
Following all health and safety procedures at all times.
What We're Looking For
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good hand-eye coordination.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Reliable and punctual with good attendance.
Flexibility to cover alternative shifts during holidays and sickness when required.
Previous production, packing, warehouse, food manufacturing, or factory experience is advantageous but not essential.
