Tradewind is seeking qualified educators for Supply Teacher opportunities in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire ahead of the new academic year. Work is available across Primary, Secondary and SEN provisions, with opportunities for both general classroom cover and teachers looking to work within their specialist subject.

Supply teaching provides variety without requiring a long-term commitment to one setting. Depending on your availability and experience, placements can range from individual cover days through to regular work and longer-term placements.

Primary schools
Secondary schools
Specialist SEN provisions
Mainstream schools requiring additional teaching capacity
Settings seeking subject specialists

Responsibilities

Assignments will vary, but you will generally be expected to:

Deliver effective lessons in line with the school's expectations.
Maintain positive classroom behaviour and routines.
Follow lesson plans and curriculum requirements.
Adapt activities where appropriate to meet pupil needs.
Support pupils throughout the lesson.
Liaise professionally with permanent school staff.
Follow safeguarding, behaviour and school policies.

Applicants should have:

QTS or an appropriate teaching qualification/experience
Recent experience teaching within UK schools
Strong classroom management
A good understanding of safeguarding
Reliable attendance and professional conduct
The ability to adapt quickly to different classrooms and school environmentsSubject specialists are encouraged to apply, as are Primary Teachers and educators with SEN experience.
