Supply Desk are working closely with a welcoming and supportive Primary School in Southampton, who are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join their team from September.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to develop their career in a nurturing Key Stage 1 environment. The successful candidate will be passionate about creating engaging lessons that inspire young learners and support them through this crucial stage of their education.

Overview

Supply Desk are currently seeking a committed Year 1 Teacher to join a thriving Primary School in the Southampton area on a long-term contract, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

The successful applicant will be responsible for planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum, assessing pupil progress and creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child can succeed.

We are currently looking for Teachers who:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or are an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
Have a strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
Can plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons that inspire young learners.
Are committed to raising attainment and supporting pupils of all abilities.
Have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
Are enthusiastic, organised and committed to continuous professional development.
Have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or are willing to obtain one.
