CER Education are currently recruiting for an experienced School Administrator to join a busy and welcoming secondary school in South Tyneside. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and organised administrator to become part of a professional school team and provide effective administrative support across the school.

The successful candidate will have previous school administration experience and be confident working in a busy educational environment. Due to the nature of the role, previous experience working within a school administration setting is essential.

The Role

As a School Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

Providing efficient day-to-day administrative support to the school
Managing incoming calls, emails and general enquiries
Maintaining accurate school records and databases
Supporting staff, pupils, parents and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
Assisting with school correspondence and documentation
Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately
Supporting the wider administrative team with general office duties
Working effectively in a busy environment and prioritising tasks as required

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

Has previous school administration experience - essential
Has excellent organisational and communication skills
Is confident using IT and school administration systems
Can work effectively in a fast-paced school environment
Is professional, approachable and reliable
Can communicate confidently with staff, pupils, parents and visitors
Has a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
Is available for an immediate start
