SMSTS Site Manager - Ilford - £350 per day
We are looking for an experienced SMSTS Site Manager with a strong general construction and M&E background for an NHS healthcare refurbishment project in Ilford.

Rate: £350 per day
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
Overtime: Available
Weekend/night work: Flexibility required
Parking: Free on siteResponsibilities:
Manage day-to-day site activities and ensure works are completed safely and to programme
Coordinate subcontractors and manage site teams
Oversee construction and M&E works
Monitor quality, progress and health & safety
Carry out site inductions, toolbox talks and regular site inspections
Liaise with the Principal Contractor, client and project team
Manage deliveries, materials and site logistics
Ensure all site documentation and records are kept up to date
Identify and resolve site issues promptly
Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications and project requirementsRequirements:
SMSTS - essential
Asbestos Awareness
Working at Heights
Basic DBS required, or must be able to pass a Basic DBS check
Mechanical qualification / time-served mechanical background preferred
Previous experience working for a Principal Contractor highly desirable
NHS/healthcare refurbishment experience advantageous
Air Source Heat Pump installation experience highly desirable
