Role Responsibilities
Supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2
Working with children individually and in small groups
Assisting teachers with lessons and classroom activities
Supporting pupils with additional needs as required
Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence and engagement
Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment
Adhering to school safeguarding, allergy and medical procedures
Person Specification
Previous experience supporting the UK curriculum
A genuine passion for working with children
Sound knowledge of safeguarding responsibilities
Awareness of Benedict’s Law and the importance of allergy safety
A calm, patient and adaptable approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Confidence to work across different schools and year groups
A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential
