BPSS-Approved Site Manager – Carpentry Background

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong carpentry background to join our team on a high-profile construction project.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing site operations, coordinating trades, maintaining high standards of workmanship, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to specification.

BPSS approval is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage day-to-day site operations and coordinate subcontractors and site teams.

* Supervise carpentry and wider construction works, ensuring quality and programme requirements are met.

* Plan and monitor labour, materials, plant and resources.

* Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications and agreed programmes.

* Maintain a strong focus on health, safety and environmental standards.

* Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and regular site inspections.

* Liaise with Project Managers, Contracts Managers, clients and subcontractors.

* Monitor progress and provide regular updates on programme and site performance.

* Identify and resolve site issues efficiently.

* Ensure works are completed to a high standard and in line with project requirements.

* Maintain accurate site records, reports and documentation
