Warehouse Operatives and Handballers
Location: Ipswich
Shifts: Monday to Sunday, Days and Nights.
Job description:
TSR Ipswich Ltd are looking for Warehouse Operatives and handballers to work for highly established and reputable clients across the Ipswich area!
These are hands-on warehouse roles suited to reliable, hardworking individuals who are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and being on their feet for most of the working day.
Key Responsibilities:
Handballing role will include the following:
* Emptying out containers
* Ensuring boxes are put onto pallets and are correctly placed on
* Shrink wrapping pallets
* Heavy lifting
* Moving stock around the warehouse
* Working on your own or in a pair
* Checking labels on boxes
Warehouse Operatives roles will include the following:
* Manual handling and heavy lifting (occasionally)
* Picking and packing
* Wrapping and labelling
* Adding powder coating and finishing to products
* Using manual pump trucks and doing pallet work
* Using certain machinery and equipment, which the job requires
About You:
The ideal individual will be a person, who possesses the following:
* Pride in what they do and an interest in their work, willing to expand their knowledge in the field they are working in.
* Careful with goods and an eye for attention to detail
* Punctual and arrives to work on time.
* A strong work ethic and always willing to give work 100% of their ability
* Previous warehouse and / or handballing experience
* Can follow instructions and perform them effectively and efficiently
* Can work to deadlines
