Are you an experienced Site Inspector looking for a new challenge?
An opportunity has arisen for a Site Inspector with experience in highways development management to join a client in Northamptonshire. Your main duties include monitoring and checking highways/developer works across the area.
This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £30 - £40 per hour - negotiable for the right candidate.
Working within the Highways team your main duties include:
§Monitor developer and contactor works for compliance with approved documentation, specification, planning requirements, legal agreements and permits
§Identify non-compliant work, agree required remedial action and monitor successful completion
§Monitor works within the highway to ensure operational safety and public safety, including traffic management compliance
§Liaise with the developers, designers, contractors and Development Management and Technical Audit teams to identify and agree design changes required to achieve compliant and acceptable schemes
§Confirm completion of civil engineering works to support maintenance and/or adoption certification
