Machine Operator

Abatec is recruiting for a Machine Operator to join a busy production team in Yatton, BS49. You will be responsible for operating manufacturing machinery to meet production targets while maintaining high standards.

* Full-time, long-term position

* Pay rate: £15.12* per hour

* Monday – Friday, rotating shifts (days and nights)

* Start ASAP

About the role

* Operate machinery within your designated area to meet production targets

* Set up, adjust, and monitor machines, including start-up and shut-down

* Reduce material waste and maximise production efficiency

* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area

* Adhere to all safety, quality, and production procedures

* * Pay rate is £14.62 per hour, plus an additional 50p per hour attendance bonus, paid at the end of each month

About You

* Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or engineering environment

* High attention to detail and a structured approach to work

* Good communication skills
