Location: Burnley

Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 3:30pm
Friday: 7:00am - 1:00pm

Paint Sprayer / Powder Coater

Envair Technology is seeking an experienced Paint Sprayer / Powder Coater to join our growing manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established engineering business producing high-quality products for specialist industries.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, coating and finishing a variety of fabricated metal components to a consistently high standard while maintaining quality, efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare metal components for painting and powder coating, including cleaning, masking and surface preparation.
Apply powder coatings and wet paint finishes to engineering components.
Operate powder coating and spray painting equipment safely and efficiently.
Carry out colour changes and equipment cleaning as required.
Inspect finished products to ensure a high-quality finish with no defects.
Maintain spray booths, ovens and associated equipment.
Work from engineering drawings and production schedules where required.
Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety procedures.
Support continuous improvement and maintain excellent housekeeping standards.

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in powder coating and/or industrial paint spraying.
Knowledge of surface preparation techniques.
Ability to achieve high-quality cosmetic finishes.
Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable with a positive, flexible attitude.

Desirable

Experience using electrostatic powder coating equipment.
Knowledge of different coating specifications and finishes.
FLT licence (advantageous but not essential).
