About this contract

Immediate Start

Multi Skilled Engineer, Electrical Bias, £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, Primarily Glasgow and the West of Scotland)

Benefits

* Competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience

* Company pension scheme with 3% employer contribution after 3 months

* Overtime opportunities available: Weekdays: Time and a half, Saturday mornings: Time and a half, Saturday after 12:00pm: Double time, Sundays: Double time

Responsibilities

* Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm

* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on industrial and commercial equipment

* Diagnose faults and perform repairs on electrical and mechanical systems

* Service, maintain, and repair: Centrifugal pumps, Submersible pumps, Progressive cavity pumps, Air-operated diaphragm pumps, Booster sets, Inverters, Associated control systems

* Ensure equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in line with industry standards

* Attend customer sites across Scotland to provide technical support and maintenance services

* Participate in the on-call rota and respond to emergency breakdowns when required

* Complete service reports and maintenance documentation accurately

Requirements

* Proven experience in a mechanical and electrical maintenance or service engineering role

* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

* Experience working with pumps, control systems, inverters, and associated industrial equipment

* Ability to work independently in a field-based environment

* Good understanding of both planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance practices

* Full UK driving licence

* Strong communication and customer service skills

* Flexible approach to travel and participation in the on-call rota
