SEMD Engineer

Galliford Try Construction Ltd, a renowned leader in the construction industry, is currently seeking a skilled SEMD Engineer with a focus on electrical engineering to join their team on a 6-month contract. This role, based in Warrington, offers a hybrid working model and is essential for the security design within the water sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing and implementing SEMD designs for security systems within the water sector
Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver project requirements
Conducting risk assessments and applying mitigation measures
Preparing detailed technical reports and documentation
Providing technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle
Overseeing the installation and commissioning of security systems
Liaising with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met

Job Requirements:

Experience in SEMD design engineering, particularly within the water sector
Significant knowledge of electrical engineering principles
Strong security design experience
Proficiency in relevant design software and tools
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work in a hybrid model with some days in the Warrington office
