IT Sourcing Manager
Location: Flexible to work from any hub including London
Duration: 6 months initially, with potential for long-term extension
Focus: IT Software Procurement, Sourcing, Commercial & Contractual Management
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Sourcing Manager to join a fast-paced and demanding technology procurement environment. This is a senior role requiring extensive experience in software sourcing, commercial negotiations and contractual management, ideally gained within a major financial services organisation.
The successful candidate will manage a demanding portfolio of technology and software procurement activity, working to tight timescales and demonstrating a high level of initiative. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and executives, using your commercial, technical and influencing skills to deliver effective sourcing strategies and outcomes.
A key area of focus will be supporting an Economic Crime Prevention portfolio, helping protect customers and large suppliers from fraud and other forms of economic crime.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage complex IT and software sourcing and procurement activities across a demanding portfolio.
Develop and execute sourcing strategies for software and cloud-based technology solutions.
Manage the full commercial and contractual lifecycle, from sourcing and negotiation through to contract execution and ongoing supplier management.
Lead complex commercial negotiations with major technology and software suppliers.
Work closely with senior stakeholders, including senior executives, to a high level.
