We are seeking a skilled Scala Developer with Public Sector experience to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in developing scalable applications using Scala, with proficiency in the Play Framework and AWS cloud services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust applications using Scala.
- Utilise the Play Framework to build web-based applications.
- Deploy, manage, and optimise applications on AWS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Ensure best practises in software development and code quality.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Scala Developer, preferably within the Public Sector.
- Strong proficiency in Scala and the Play Framework.
- Experience with AWS cloud services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.

Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Familiarity with other functional programming languages.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and processes.
- Knowledge of security best practises in software development
