Academics are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant who has a strong background in the classroom and with children with additional needs.
Whether you are looking for flexible day-to-day supply work to fit around your lifestyle, or a long-term placement that has the potential to turn into a permanent contract, we are offering multiple roles that will ensure you increase your experience whilst balancing your personal commitments!
The Role
Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN (such as Autism, ADHD, MLD, SLD, or SEMH) is wonderful, though transferable skills from care or support work are also very welcome.
A warm, resilient, and empathetic approach with a genuine passion for inclusive education.
A strong understanding of safeguarding procedures within an educational setting.
Supporting the teacher and assisting in delivering tailored education to students.
Building positive relationships with students and learning to understand their needs in either 1:1 or small-group classes.
