An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Highways Engineer with experience in Design and Project Management to join a client in Buckinghamshire. You will be responsible for designing and delivering a range of highway schemes and bridges/highways structures under the NEC contract, including sustainable transport, traffic management and highway/public realm improvements across the area.
This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £45 - £47 per hour - negotiable for the right candidate and dependant on experience. Flexible working arrangements and working from home options are available.
Working within the Highways team your main duties include:
- Designing and delivering a range of highways structures, sustainable transport and road safety projects
- Ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard
- Overseeing design schemes carried out by the designated consultants and monitoring site projects by the contractor
- Managing "design and build" projects on highways, footways and carriageways
