Pay: Up to £130 per day, dependent on experience

We are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors for opportunities starting in early November at secondary schools in DN6 and DN3.
These roles offer the opportunity to work within a secondary school environment, supervising students and ensuring they remain engaged with their pre prepared work in the absence of their usual teacher.
No previous Cover Supervisor experience is required, as full training and support will be provided.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
• Supervising classes in the absence of the usual teacher
• Delivering pre prepared lesson materials
• Ensuring students remain focused and complete the work provided
• Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Following school policies and procedures
• Reporting any issues to the relevant member of staff
Previous experience in a school is not essential. We welcome applications from people with transferable experience from areas such as:
• Youth work
• Sports coaching
• Childcare
• Tutoring
• Teaching
• Mentoring
• Other roles involving responsibility for groups of young people
