Site Engineer - Sizewell C

We are recruiting a Site Engineer to join a major UK infrastructure project at Sizewell C, one of the country’s flagship nuclear and heavy civils schemes. This role offers the chance to work within a Tier 1 delivery environment on complex temporary works and general civils packages, contributing to a long-term, high-profile programme.

Key Responsibilities

Setting out and surveying for a range of heavy civils and temporary works packages

Managing and coordinating temporary works designs and installations

Ensuring works are delivered in line with technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards

Supporting site teams with method statements, risk assessments, and technical queries

Liaising with subcontractors, designers, and site management teams

Monitoring progress and contributing to programme delivery

Maintaining robust QA documentation and site records

Requirements

Experience working as a Site Engineer / Senior Engineer / Setting Out Engineer

Strong background in general civils and/or temporary works

Previous experience on major infrastructure projects (e.g. nuclear, highways, rail, or large-scale civils schemes)

Competent in setting out using total station and GPS equipment

Understanding of temporary works procedures and coordination

Familiar with QA processes and site documentation
