Process Technician
Location: Fareham (Fully On-Site)
Duration: 6 months initially (with potential for extension or permanent)
Rate: £22.00 per hour

Are you an experienced Process Technician with a background in electronics manufacturing? Our client is looking for a skilled individual to join their production team, supporting the rework, modification, assembly, and testing of electronic products to the highest quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment with overtime and shift opportunities available.
What you'll be doing:
Carry out rework and modifications on electronic assemblies in accordance with IPC standards.
Build assemblies and sub-assemblies following approved manufacturing procedures.
Conduct basic testing at sub-assembly and general assembly (GA) level.
Complete test reports and accurately maintain production documentation.
Update and maintain business information systems as required.
Ensure all work is completed to quality, safety, and production standards.
Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to support efficient manufacturing operations.
What you'll bring:
A minimum of two years' experience in a similar electronics manufacturing or production environment.
Experience with electronic assembly, rework, and modification activities.
Working knowledge of IPC standards (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001 or equivalent experience is advantageous).
Experience carrying out basic testing and inspection of electronic assemblies.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Competent user of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
A methodical, analytical approach with excellent attention to detail.
