Facilities Management Regional Manager
Guildford Based (Hybrid working 2-3 days per week in the office)
£53.24 an hour Umbrella Inside IR35
12 Month Contract initially.
This is a great opportunity to work within a leading Defence organisation based in Guildford. This role is hybrid working 2-3 days per week in the office.
Core Duties
Strategic liaison between stakeholders& supply chain
Working alongside the wider SSFM team, proactively deliver against business strategies
Drive operational excellence
Energy biased
Hard & Soft biased
Attend stakeholder reviews
Drive supply chain performance through operational reviews
Attend governance/compliance related reviews
SSFM budget holders
Forward plan owners
Strategic liaison between stakeholders & supply chain, ensuring FM service delivery aligns and supports business strategies
Working alongside the FM Governance team:
Proactively delivering management information and tailoring innovation to support business strategies
Preperation and delivery of review packs
Drive operational excellence of the supply chain throughout the wider FM delivery
Geographically aligned with supply chain partners' Regional Operations Managers, travelling between applicable sites to ensure FM presence is visible to stakeholders
Actively contribute to and drive Energy performance, working towards stretch targets and seeking innovative solutions for our customers
Supply chain management:
Ensure a focussed, well balanced and consistent Hard & Soft FM service is delivered via our supply chain partners
Drive performance improvement through robust supply chain reviews
Ensuring customer feedback is sought and acted upon through the feedback process
Working alongside the Risk & Compliance Manager and the wider SHE network, contribute to assurance processes to ensure a safe and compliant estate
Responsible for managing the cost profile for their property portfolio, including financial forecasting, budget setting and engaging with the wider finance team
Ownership of forward plans with a view to providing a joined up approach to a strategic property/estate plan that is agreed by all applicable stakeholders i.e. RE&I, stakeholders, Security
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
Experience of general Facilities Management, including Hard & Soft disciplines (E)
Energy & Utilities awareness (D)
Robust knowledge of QSHE requirements (D)
Ability to build and grow relationships with key stakeholders (E)
Strong supply chain management skills (E)
