General Operative – Chard
Location: Chard Hours: Monday–Thursday 08:00–17:00, Friday 08:00–14:30 Pay: £12.21 – £13.50 per hour
Are you reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to take ownership of a busy environment? We’re looking for a proactive Operative to join our team in Chard.
Role Responsibilities
Handling general duties, including packaging and dispatch
Completing accurate paperwork and documentation
Managing stock levels and contributing to stock control systems
Ensuring goods are prepared and sent out on time and in good condition
Note: FLT experience is not required – full training provided via Train to Progress (T2P).
✅ What We’re Looking For
Strong understanding of English (written and verbal)
Good head for organisation and logistics
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Previous experience in stores or warehouse work preferred but not essential
