SEN Teachers & Teaching Assistants Wanted - Full-Time - Aylesbury

A specialist residential setting in Aylesbury is looking for experienced SEN Teachers and SEN Teaching Assistants (TAs) to join their team immediately. The school supports children and young people with complex SEN needs, primarily Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, with a strong focus on teaching life skills and building independence.
What's on Offer:
Teaching Assistants: £95-£110 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Qualified Teachers: Paid to scale (MPS/UPS)
Full-time roles - Monday to Friday
Immediate start available
The Role:
Work closely with students on a 1:1 or small group basis
Support in the delivery of personalised education plans
Help develop key life skills and emotional regulation strategies
Manage challenging behaviour with confidence and empathy
Be a consistent, positive presence for students who may have experienced trauma or disrupted education
Requirements:
Experience working with children or young people with SEN/SEMH
Resilience, confidence, and a calm, professional approach
A genuine understanding of SEN and how best to support individual needs
A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
