Drs Direct are looking for a Occupational Health Technician who can support our client on a contract basis somewhere between 3-5 days a week.
This temp role will help our client whilst they recruit on a permanent basis. For more information about the job role please see below.
This is a fantastic OH Tech role as it is working for an amazing In-house client and a really lovely OH Team. The OH Tech will be required well within this team and work under the supervision of the in-house OHA.
You will also need to work as part of the OH Team in delivering health promotion activities.
Preform pre-placement assessments including drug and alcohol testing.
Undertake health surveillance including audio and lung function testing in like with group protocols and procedures.
Undertake health screening in accordance with company protocols to include blood pressure monitoring and vision screening.
Record all results in an agreed format, adopting a consistent approach using accurate written, electronic and verbal reports.
Finally instruct employees on completion of paperwork/ forms.
This will be a single site role in the main however infrequent travel from time to time in the North West may be required
THIS IS A UK BASED POSITION, TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE ,IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT:
1. You have UK work experience with at least 6 months experience working as a support worker or in a similar position.
2. Your CV clearly shows your relevant experience and qualifications.

Other roles- bronchoscopy and pleural lists and advice and guidance and referral vetting regularly. 1 admin PA per week.
