Position: Pharmacy Dispenser
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3 months initially
Working pattern: 4 nights on, 4 nights off
Shift Time: 9pm – 9am (12 hours)
Payment: 11.5 hours paid per shift which includes 1 hour of breaks
Rates: Dispenser - £19.00 Umbrella Rate.
Position Overview:
We are a first tier supplier to our client in Leamington Spa and working with them on an exclusive to fulfil their night rota.
We’re looking for qualified Pharmacy Dispensers with NVQ2 pharmacy/ dispensing certification to join a multidisciplinary team of Pharmacists, Dispensers and support personnel.
As a key member of our clinical operations contributing to the overall safety and wellbeing of patients.
This is an on-site role working 12-hour shifts and is available on an ADHOC basis or more regular working patterns up to a rotating 4-days-on, 4 days-off schedule.
What you'll be doing:
* Work onsite at our warehouse facility located just outside Coventry, ensuring the safe and compliant dispensing of medications.
* Use our secure Electronic Health Records (EHR) system to process prescriptions and maintain confidentiality.
* Accurately check prescriptions against protocols set by the Medical Team, ensuring all requirements are met for safe supply.
* Prepare medications and liaise with the warehouse team to ensure timely dispatch.
* Record concise and accurate notes in patient records as required.
* Follow operational protocols for prescription processing and escalate issues as needed.
* Engage in team training and meetings to stay updated on procedures and best practices.
* Maintain your professional registration and keep up with continuing education requirements.

As they continue to grow, they are looking to bring onboard a Quality Assurance Specialist – IVD / Medical Devices, who will play a key role in maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS), supporting manufacturing processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards such as ISO 13485.

Key Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Specialist – IVD / Medical Devices will include;

Manage controlled documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines.

Support the QA team and wider business in ensuring documents are prepared, reviewed, updated and distributed or stored within agreed timelines.

Ensure upkeep of the Quality Management System (QMS).

Maintain and organise the document control database, ensuring documents are accurate, up to date and easily accessible.

Comply with strict document control protocols, identifying and actioning areas of improvement.

Deliver training and provide support to colleagues for QA and document control activities.

Act as the point of contact for external stakeholders in relation to document control activities.

Ensure documentation is organised and stored in compliance with medical device regulations e.g. ISO 13485 and 21 CFR Part 820.

To be considered for the Quality Assurance Specialist – IVD / Medical Devices vacancy, you’ll need the following skills and experience;

Prior Document Control or Quality Assurance experience, preferably from within a medical devices, diagnostics or biotechnology organisation.

A demonstrable understanding of medical device regulations and requirements e.g. ISO 13485 and 21 CFR Part 820.

Strong IT skills, with a proficiency using Microsoft Office and similar software packages.

Experience with an electronic Document Management System (eDMS) and/or electronic Quality Management System (eQMS) would be highly advantageous.

A keen eye for detail to be able to identify documentation abnormalities and take steps to address these.

Excellent communication skills and a personable nature to support relationship building with both internal and external stakeholders.

Ability to work both independently and within the larger organisation team to ensure the smooth running of documentation activities.

A degree (or equivalent working experience) in a scientific discipline such as Biology, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology or a related area. In the absence of a degree, A-Levels or equivalent will be considered.

Days & Hours:

4 hours per week - two visits of 2 hours per week

About our client:

Our client is a 67-year-old female, who sustained pelvic fractures in January 2025 (road traffic accident). Her recovery has been extremely slow, and she has significantly reduced mobility (wheelchair, four wheeled walker, or quad stick).
The client may benefit from a support worker who can drive, but this is not essential. The client has asked if the support worker can ideally be local, as she does not know the current area well and feels that the support worker will help her get used to her
environment / local community. For example, she would like to achieve a goal of being able to access a local church.

Key tasks – outlined by the client’s therapy team – include:
* Assist client in practising activities. She is currently requiring carer support for her morning wash routine, washing back and lower limbs, grooming (applying cream), oral care.
* Meal preparation and kitchen tasks: Practice walking safely within the kitchen area, navigating around furniture and obstacles.
* Support weight shifting, reaching, and bending while performing tasks like retrieving items from overhead cupboards, countertops, and lower drawers.
*Encourage use of perching stool.
* Practice wheelchair skills and wheelchair confidence indoors and outdoor.
* Support with community activities: plan and practice establishing a community routine, such as attending church and visiting the local park.
* Guiding client through range of motion or strengthening exercises relevant to ADL goals.
* Supporting gym attendance (longer-term target) and outdoor activities including shopping whilst she gains confidence and establishes a routine for her to complete these independently.

Quality Operations Specialist

Are you an experienced Clinical Operations professional? Do you have experience writing SOP's in a clinical / quality related environment? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

We are recruiting for a Quality Operations Specialist to join a leading multinational biopharmaceutical client based in Berkshire.

The successful candidate will support the Head of Process Quality Excellence in developing and maintaining its clinical quality systems/procedures and ensuring quality and compliance risks are appropriately identified and mitigated.

Candidates will need experience and focus on GCP regulations and guidance.

This is a contract position, inside IR35, offered initially for 12 months on a hybrid basis. Minimum 2 days a week on site preferably Tues & Thurs but this can be flexible if needed.

Responsibilities:

Support the Head with quality and compliance infrastructure development, assist with creation/revision of appropriate quality and compliance policies, SOPs, processes, and best practices as needed.
Work in collaboration with Global Quality, Patient Safety, Regulatory Affairs, strategic partners, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with International Council for Harmonization of Technical Requirements for ICH, GCP and relevant local and international regulations and to ensure inspection readiness.
Lead and drive inspection readiness activities across functions working closely with the relevant inspection teams.
Participate in audit and inspection planning with global quality.
Represent or ensure representation including preparation during audits/inspections / on-site by internal and external parties.
Support staff with audit/inspection responses, where required.Requirements:

8+ years of pharmaceutical experience, preferably in a global quality assurance or a clinical development setting.
In-depth experience of GCP including hands on experience in global GCP audits and/or inspections.
2+ years of experience in SOP writing essential.
