A global data and AI-driven transformation company is seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Lead to oversee the delivery of a scalable, enterprise-grade data platform on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role is ideal for a strategic leader who excels in coordinating cross-functional teams and aligning technology initiatives with business outcomes.

Role Overview
The Technical Delivery Lead will manage the end-to-end delivery life cycle of GCP-based data initiatives. This includes orchestrating teams, managing dependencies, and ensuring alignment with modern data principles and cloud best practices. The role emphasises leadership, stakeholder engagement, and proactive risk management rather than hands-on engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Lead delivery of GCP-based data platform projects, ensuring strategic alignment and timely execution
Coordinate cross-functional teams including data engineers, architects, QA, and DevOps
Manage project phases from design through deployment, maintaining delivery velocity and quality
Facilitate retrospectives and feedback sessions to drive continuous improvement
Collaborate with architects to evolve technical roadmaps and ensure platform scalability
Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders and PMO, identifying risks early
Champion Agile methodologies and governance frameworks across delivery streams
Mentor team members and promote a culture of accountability and collaborationRequired Experience

10+ years in technology delivery, data engineering, BI, or architecture
Minimum 3 years as a Delivery Lead or Technical Lead for cloud data projects (GCP preferred)
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum, DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native delivery models
Familiarity with GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, and Pub/Sub
Knowledge of modern data architectures including lakehouse, ELT, and schema design
Awareness of compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and RBAC
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred Either £110k or Umbrella at £550/day Inside
