The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising whole classes across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering a range of subjects in the absence of the class teacher. Your main role will be to ensure that students remain on task, complete the work set, and follow the school’s behaviour expectations.
You will not be required to plan or mark lessons, but you will play a key part in maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver pre-prepared lessons to classes across KS3 and KS4.
Maintain discipline and ensure students stay focused on their learning.
Provide clarification and guidance to support students with their work.
Adapt quickly to cover a variety of subjects and year groups.
Uphold the school’s values and contribute positively to the learning environment.

Person Specification
Previous experience working with young people, ideally in a school setting.
