Lead Structural Engineer

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and mentor a team of structural engineers; manage project schedules,

quality, and delivery outcomes.

* Oversee design work: concept, basic, and detailed designs of primary and

secondary steel for fixed offshore structures (jacket foundations, monopiles,

gravity bases, transition pieces, templates, etc.).

* Perform, guide and review structural analyses: ultimate limit state (ULS), fatigue,

serviceability (SLS), accidental (ALS) etc.; in-place loads as well as pre-service

loads (transport, load-out, lifting).

* Lead detailed connection design: bolted, welded, grout, etc.; address

phenomena such as vortex induced vibration, wave slamming and other

dynamic or environmental effects.

* Provide technical advice to clients and other internal projects; act in a consulting

capacity where required.

* Monitor project progress and interface with project managers and clients; ensure

deliverables meet specifications, standards, and client expectations.

* Promote continuous improvement: coach fellow engineers, contribute to

knowledge sharing, adhere to and help refine internal best practices, tools, and

codes.
