Lead Protection Engineer
Glasgow
12 month contract (with further extensions likely)
We are looking for a Senior / Lead Protection Engineer to design and implement Protection Systems across the UK Transmission and Distribution sector.
What you'll need:
·You'll have strong technical leadership skills and be able to mentor & coach others.
·You'll have experience working in the UK Transmission and Distribution sector.
·You'll have working knowledge of IEC61850 and how to implement this within the field.
·You'll have knowledge of communications systems, substation protocols along with and understanding of Cyber Security and the implications/ requirements for design in Protection and Control solutions.
