Job Title: Semi-Skilled Operative - A380 Assembly Line
Location: Hamble, Southampton
Hours: Early Shift - 06:00-14:15 Mon-Thu / 06:00-12:00 Fri
PAYE Rates:
Early Shift: £15.38/hr
Overtime (over 37 hrs) & Saturdays: £23.07/hr
Sundays & Bank Holidays: £30.76/hr
About the Role
Our aerospace client, a well-regarded leader in the sector, is seeking a Semi-Skilled Operative to join their Rib Cell Area on the A380 Assembly Line. This is a contract position offering hands-on experience within a high-quality, fast-paced aerospace environment.
Eligibility: Due to the nature of the work, BPSS clearance is required. Only UK nationals or eligible applicants will be considered. Failure to obtain or maintain clearance may impact employment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform fitting tasks to high standards within the Rib Cell Area
Assist with assembly and installation of ribs in aerospace structures
Use tools and equipment safely and efficiently to complete assigned tasks
Follow detailed instructions and technical drawings accurately
Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workspace
Job Requirements
Experience in fitting or similar hands-on roles, preferably in aerospace
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions precisely
Commitment to safety and quality standards
Flexibility to work early shifts and occasional overtime
