Recruiting both standard and Senior Control Systems Engineer, you'll take ownership of projects through their full lifecycle - from initial design and software development to testing, commissioning, and handover. You'll play a key part in delivering innovative control solutions and supporting the growth of a talented engineering team.
Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and commissioning of control and automation systems.
Attend client meetings, conduct site surveys, and provide technical leadership on projects.
Develop and configure PLC, HMI, and SCADA software using leading platforms (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi, AVEVA, or ClearSCADA).
Produce detailed technical documentation and ensure all designs meet project specifications and standards.
Oversee site-based commissioning activities (occasional short stays away from home).
What We're Looking For
Minimum 5 years' experience in control systems engineering, ideally with project leadership experience.
Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Electronic, or Software Engineering.
Strong understanding of PLC and SCADA/HMI software development.
Experience with major automation platforms such as Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, or Wonderware (other systems also considered).
Excellent communication, documentation, and organisational skills.
Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
Prior mentoring or team leadership experience is advantageous
