So HMRC allows £150 per head for an annual party does it matter where I go for a slap up meal and wine as long as I have a receipt?

Nope :-)
Just keep the receipt, only spend up to £150, and make sure it's an annual event (or one of two annual events if you also have a company Summer party perchance). It also has to be available to all employees. -

I was in Dallas on holiday with the family in October, we managed to get flights from Dallas to New Orleans and back and a hotel room for 2 nights for £293 (Spirit Airlines are the US EasyJet).
My wife is an employee of my company so that was our Xmas party.I'm not even an atheist so much as I am an antitheist; I not only maintain that all religions are versions of the same untruth, but I hold that the influence of churches, and the effect of religious belief, is positively harmful. Every year I mean to take advantage of this and take the wife to a nice restaurant as our "Xmas party", every year I can't be bothered to claim it back.
Maybe I should pay the bill on the company card in the first place?Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment
