Core Hours ( Shift Work)

I'm finding a lot of City jobs have a standard core working hours of 9 hours now and they say you will also be required to work on a rotational shifts. e.g 8-5pm or 1-10pm
What happened to the good old 9-5

Ditto - did it for 3 months. I would say that it took me another 6 months to recover!

I also did it for 2 years in the mil. but then I had no choice!
