I stayed more than a few times at the Travelodge in Feltham. You didn't need to go into reception on the 2nd floor to get to the rest of the hotel. I'm pretty sure the (mostly foreign) staff on nightshift were in on the business.
I didn't get any higher than the 6th floor, before you ask
