limit families to three children?

What if a couple already have two children, decide to have a third and then end up with twins? Will they have to decide which one stays and which one goes?
Will families be able to have another child if one of their existing children expires in some way?
Will families be able to have more children once the oldest has moved out?
What if they suddenly find themselves having to take in nieces and nephews following sudden expiration of said nieces' and nephews' parents? Will they have to trade in one or more of their own children in exchange?
As an alternative, how about saying you can have as many children as you want, but you can only keep the youngest three, any older than that will have to be sold off into sexual slavery. That might actually bring in some useful cash to reduce the deficit, come to think of it.- The meaning of life is to give life meaning

We should just tax people according to their children. Have as many as you want, if you can afford it. Then you can opt to avoid tax by killing one if you so wish. Will work inside IR35. Or for food.Comment

As Sue pointed out, we need children to look after us in our old age.
Unless we get in immigrants on 5 year visas?Comment

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.Comment

I have 4 children and they cost me a fecking fortune. After all the ballet, horse-riding, dancing & ice-skating lessons I don't have anything left to pay tax.Comment

IMO child benefits etc should only apply to the first child. Want more kids? Great, pay for them yourself.Comment

Is this going to turn into a eugenics thread? If it is, who's going to get banned first“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.”Comment

Simples , You can have as many kids as you like BUT for each child you have the benefits half and when you get over 4 you have to pay the state a fine doubling with each new child born.Comment
