Some classic "reporting" here from The Soaraway Sun (good for wiping your arse on).

The bestest bit is
That must a really really big non sequitur.
Dear old Wernher got the damn thing working as quickly as possible and Heisenberg (say my name) more or less sabotaged the German atomic bomb project.
It sounds like total bollux to me.
Fatman weighed in an impressive 10000 lbs or so, the warhead on the V2 was about 1 tonne, so that ain't gonna fly.
Worlds of If.
If the V2 had been capable of carrying an early, unminiaturised nuke, maybe.
But it wasn't.
Minaturised nukes didn't come along until the 1950s.
Plus the Germans didn't have a heavy bomber capable of carrying something like Fatman.
It was a choice of the Lancaster or the B29 for that.
More bollox.
260km range.
Another piece of classic reportage from The Soaraway Sun.
Even worse than the toss produced by the Wail.
Allegedly a V1 (same 1 tonne warhead) cost £125 (1945) to make, whilst the V2 (1 tonne warhead) cost something like £12000 to make.
We should all thank dear old Wernher for wasting all that money.
Stunning engineering, but essentially a waste of time & resources.
The other thing to remember that had VE day not happened in May, Berlin would have received Little Boy in August 1945 instead of Hiroshima.
The really impressive thing about the "accuracy" of the V2 is that the attack on Lowestoft wasn't detected at the time.
It was only when the fall of shot was plotted after the end of hostilities that it was discovered.
They saying "I aimed for the stars & sometimes hit London" is more accurate than you might think. (And a damn sight more accurate than the V2).
It's obviously a damn sight more accurate than what passes for journalism in The Soaraway Sun.
This is quite fun, especially after the Eyetalian clown turns up.

He's really Off Planet.
IIRC I sold him a ZeitGhost Enterprises(tm) Tin Foil Hat.

However, it is widely regarded if the Nazis has developed the rockets sooner they may have won the race to develop the atomic bomb and thus gone on to have won the war.

“The V2 was the first real ballistic missile. Its effects were devastating.
“Had Hitler been successful in developing the technology of the atomic bomb then he would have had the capability of firing it long distances.

They were launched vertically and could travel at 3,500mph to hit targets more than 500 miles away, making it the world’s first long-range combat-ballistic missile.
