Security Clearance - Arrested but not charged

    Hi,

In June 2014 I was arrested by allegations made by the previous employer.

This was 2 counts of theft and 1 count of fraud.

This is still on-going and in June 2014 I was released without any charges but investigation still on-going.

I have been working since that date in contracts without any problems however my next role I have found gives me the opportunity of obtaining SC Clearance in London.

Do I have to declare anything or will I fail SC?

Words utterly fail me..... What do you think you should do?

Hint the purpose of SC is to answer the question "Do we think we can trust you?"

You don't have to declare it. You would be incredibly foolish not to declare it, though.

No-one here knows the answer to that.

So I assume you are still on bail then? Don't even bother trying

Given you have made no denial, are you guilty?

What were the allegations? What is the evidence against you?

Have the police given any idea when their investigation might be concluded?
