The company aren't looking for an average 9-5 developer; If you invest time into keeping up with market trends and consider yourself a futurist, a 'lifestyle developer', it would be worth you applying.
I prefer to think of it as Converse In The Manner Of a Visionary Synergiser. Joining together with adept mentorship a developer that will work more than 9-5 with a business that will only pay them for 9-5Unless you're the lead dog, the scenery never changes.

Don't be so mercenary. Strategise and be a team player. The client doesn't want someone that goes home just because it's 5pm. Also they are overbudget and can only afford 50 quid less than the rate you wantedUnless you're the lead dog, the scenery never changes.
