    Easing off the bench

Well I eventually got bored this week with my own company & studying and started to fire around a few CVs.

A previous shoo-in with a mate has gone dead cold, and so I applied for two contracts (one which went in 10 minutes - right) and another which I am way overqualified for but is just down the road & I like the idea of something easy & local. I think my previous role is going to stop me from getting something bog standard.

I also fired off a CV to a competitor of my previous company who were advertising for a Senior Corporate Pole Choking role, and annoyingly I've got shortlisted & am going through the interview process, with a VP on the West Coast of the US. FFS. The anxiety attacks I'd been having all year have returned as I prepare for it.

Finally an offer of a consultancy gig which came about over a lunch date yesterday, which would be contract, but a contract Senior Role & a PITA 3 hour round trip commute each day.

I want the local, piece of piss one.

I think I may apply to be a postman.

Ignore the nay sayers MF. I think it's an excellent idea. You can also impress all the bored housewives standing in their PJ's about your jet setting career and sell a couple of sledges door to door while you are at it.

                I think it sounds perfect.
