Agency introducing indemnification clause - is this legal?

Just had my new Ltd Co candidate agreement from Agency who are seeking indemnification for a period of up to 6 years from the end of the tax year in respect of loss, claim, penalty, fine or damages incl. costs arising from any claim by HMRC.

    Is this legal?

    Thanks for any thoughts ...

    Of course it's legal.

Whether you want it in your contract is up to you and your legal advisors to decide.

You are getting your contract reviewed right?
