    Xmas Party

Me and the Secretary (the missus) are off for our Xmas Party tonight.
What is the rules regarding how much you can claim through your limited.
I have read that it is £150 each (won't be spending near that much!!)
I was just going to get a receipt for meals and drinks and cab.
    Is this sufficient?
What are other people doing here for it?
Do many others claim for it?

Its £150 and not a penny over to get the CT relief on it.

Not sure how many others claim it. I don't as I can't be arsed really.

it's 150 per head, with each staff member being allowed to have one additional guest. So, you can have at least 300 pounds.

No restriction on what you spend it on, just keep the receipt. Don't go over the 150/head limit, as if you do then the whole amount becomes taxable.
Plan A is located just about here.
If that doesn't work, then there's always plan B

It cost £75 for a lovely meal for the 2 of us.

It's already gone through my books...

          Roll on next Xmas...

This sounds great. Do you know which IR document states?

Can I put the 800 quid I spent at my brothers wedding through as expenses then?
