    Experiences of a first timer.

Got my first contract recently as a previous career long permie. This is in brussels and although my linguistic skills were brushed over .... it was explained that this wasnt an issue.

First day on the job and ive been asked within 2 hours of getting here, to provide an overview of my understanding and a full review of a project scope explained in broken english and with documentation in french and dutch and with workstations using european keyboards.

I think i can just about handle this but what a baptism of fire! .... wonder how long i'll last

The experience of my first time was that it was all over with very quickly and she wasn't that impressed.

            I thank you...

Sheep aren't usually all that fussy. Have you tried for a second opinion yet?

Im hoping that saying 'yes' 'yes' and 'yes' over and over with the odd bit of cheesy business rhetoric will get me to friday.
