A question .....

Is it possible to set up an Isle of Man Ltd company, and operate it from the UK, using nominees? I started to look at this a long time ago, but dropped the ball so to speak.....

I did something similar, but was told to be careful with it i.e don't do it for 5 yrs straight. I ended up doing it for 6 months, paying zero tax and £250 to the company in IOM once a month.

Given that Income Tax was introduced to fund the Napoleonic Wars one only needs to fill in ones tax form with the Special Tax Code - Waterloo - and no more will be said on the matter.

Please ring 0800 SHOP-A-CHEAT and dob yourself in. The IOM company would almost certainly have gained UK residence and should have been paying UK CT.
