Any truth in rumours they have gone to the BoE this morning - Northern Rock style?

Yes. It's absolutely true. 100%. Without a doubt.

    Probably.

If this continues the BOE will be issuing some rather attractive bonds
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

Barclays took out a loan from the BoE before NR did, just no one freaked out like they did with NR.

If there is now a run on Alliance & Leicester they will have you to thank, I suggest that you now go into hiding.

No need to panic, just pop down and withdraw all your savings at lunchtime
